Modern dads of 2023: Will and Woody
Australian KIIS FM National Drive show radio duo join POLITIX to talk about fatherhood in 2023, their individual styles and modern masculinity.
Funny, witty and all-round good guys, Will and Woody have become one of the most loveable duos in Australia from their radio show, Will & Woody. For Father’s Day, they join POLITIX to talk about how fatherhood has changed their lives and exactly what it means to be a dad in 2023.
From changing nappies, light-blocking baby tents to embracing imperfections and encouraging all emotions, we explore their new dad lives, individual styles and modern masculinity.

Over poached eggs and coffee
Like most Melburnians, you can see Will and Woody out for brunch with their families and their fellow dad friends. In these casual affairs are where conversations like what it means to be a dad in 2023 bud.
“I just want to be more involved and that’s the modern dad. I love expressing my love for my daughter,” Woody says.
Will agrees. “And you don’t smother them by telling them to get over things.”
On Will, we style him with the Harrington jacket in Camel and a matching Camel wool blend pant.
On Woody, he wears a stand collar jacket in Slate blue and a darker wool blend pant in Steel blue.
Doing dad things
For Will and Woody, changing nappies is their daddy-and-daughter time. A lot of running errands fill their day. And so we ask them, on a day to day basis, what a go-to outfit for a modern dad looks like.
Almost immediately, Woody says, “Anything with pockets. For easy storage, like a bomber jacket.”

Will wears our polo shirt in Khaki and slim stretch wool tailored pant in Forest.
Stepping it up
Will and Woody know that events don’t suddenly stop after becoming dads. So, for dressier events, we styled them in our tailored blazer and light bomber, for a less formal attire.
