HERE'S TO THE RULE BREAKERS

Our (in)formal guide to styling menswear this season.
They may have been started with good intentions but, as the saying goes, "if you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun".
Before you walk out the door, take one piece off. We say, layer it up! Limit your outfit to no more than two colours. Get creative, colour shows personality! That’s the beauty of being a Rule Breaker. It’s all about doing what you want. We think good style is about wearing what you like and what makes you feel good.
So, we've decided to take aim at some of the styling rules and, this season, we had a bit of fun with how we have put together our fresh new collection. When was the last time you took a fashion risk? Be brave and break the rules with us this season.
Take The Business Out Of Suiting
The key thing to keep in mind here is 'casual'
Do away with the trappings that are associated with the office (like a shirt and tie) and add some style with a tee, knitted polo shirt or maybe layer them all together! Be bold in your choices. We have matched this window pane check suit with a floral shirt and a pair of trainers. Remember: two buttons only on the shirt.
Your suit isn’t one piece of clothing. If you are dropping some money on your suit, then make sure you are getting the most out of it. A blazer with some jeans? A pair of suit pants with an oversized tee? It’s time to get creative. Suits are only as formal as you make them.
All White Is Alright
You don't always need colour to make a statement.
Some of the most confident outfits have no colour at all. If you want to give it a try, remember to keep it simple. Invest in a pair of quality white denim jeans or chinos. Once you've nailed that, create a cool all-white ensemble by adding items already in your wardrobe, for instance, a white T-shirt or, white sneakers.
Not confident in going white all the way? Add a coloured jacket to complete your look. While many colours can work, lighter or pastel shades add a touch of class.
Now there's one rule we can agree on; every outfit looks a lot cooler with a pair of shades on!
Collarless Is Not 'Less'
It's the kind of next-level style move that's really going to bring your personal style up to "hell yeah" status.
Lapels are in, but collars are out. When wearing a tux casually don’t over complicate the rest of your outfit. Whilst it might not be dressed up, the jacket should still be the hero.
This outfit has got 'casual date' written all over it. Take our velvet tuxedo jackets and dress it down with a tee, chinos and white trainers. Tux jackets are not just for the evening anymore.
Change Your Stripes
Picture a pinstripe and you think of 80s finance. But not the way we've done it.
We've ditched the shoulder pads and braces for a more casual feel. It’s hard not to put on your best boss face with an outfit that has this much attitude.
We’ve kept it looking strong and bold by adding in our classic black polo shirt and a pair of colour matched trainers. You can add jewellery or a man bag to finish it off. Black is in this summer!
